  • Info About Our All Natural Soy/Blend Luxury Candles

We use the finest quality Soy/Blend Wax & Wicks available that will give you a wonderful scent throw and a long burn. I custom blend Essential & High End Fragrance Oils in order to create one of a kind fragrances in my Candles, Perfumes and Body products. Why soy wax? Soy wax is a renewable resource derived from veggies (soy beans, ofc) that burns cleanly and produces less soot and pollutants than other types of wax. It also burns much slower than paraffin wax, meaning your candles will last longer even if they're smaller, than say, a bath and body works candle—leading to less waste over time! Lastly, soy wax will carry fragrance really well without chemical additives—which we would never use. What are parabens and phthalates and why we don't use them? Parabens are artificial preservatives often found in cosmetics, and phthalates are groups of chemicals commonly found in countless products, such as soaps, shampoos, toys, perfumes, etc. typically, they act as a plasticizer... ewwww. Since the scientific community is still unsure of all the possible side effects of prolonged exposure to both chemicals, we've decided not to use them in our candles. We want to keep Tree Of Life candles as safe as possible for people, pets and planet! Candle Care: Ensure the melt pool reaches the edges before blowing your candle out—it will ensure your candle has a longer life & is especially important on your first burn! Trim your wicks to 1/8 of an inch before each light and keep your candle free of any foreign materials like dust or wick trimmings. To avoid discoloration, keep your candles out of direct sunlight. Candle Safety: To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candles within sight. Keep away from any drafts or vibrations, and out of reach of pets and children. Never burn candles on or near something that can catch fire. Burn candle on a level, stable surface, and do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Our Hand Made Soaps

Today there are very few true soaps on the commercial market. Most body cleansers, both liquid and solid, are actually synthetic detergent products. Detergent cleansers are popular because they make suds easily in water and don't form gummy deposits. Some of these detergent products are actually marketed as "soap" but are not true soap according to the regulatory definition of the word. My Hand Made Soap is made the "old fashioned way" from the purest ingredients...luscious butters, oils and fragrances that will not only cleanse & nourish your skin but will also delight your senses.
